Migo Miles

Migo Mile is the new kid on the block in Glasgow.

A flat (ish), fast, and accurately measured road race open to all abilities; held on the last Sunday of each month and taking part in the leafy south side gem of Queen’s Park.

Starting on the Langside Road side of the park, opposite Queen’s Park Bowling Club, the route will take you out past the tennis courts in the direction of the duck pond. A slight incline as you cross the Balvicar Drive entrance before looping round to head back from whence you came. See an approximate route map here

This race is run with support from Migo Sports

Course records:

Male: 4.44 Gavin Smith, Cambuslang Harriers

Female: 5.54 Toni Macintosh, Ayr Seaforth

Non-binary: Not set.

New course records will be awarded a complimentary voucher from the race sponsor. Lets make sure they come down in small increments each month 🙂

Anyone familiar with 3k On The Green, will notice we have stolen some of their ethos! Massive thanks to Alasdair Murray for his advice! It’s simple and it works!

Registration will be from 9.10am and take place near the start line, opposite Queen’s Park Bowling Club.

There are currently no changing facilities for this event. A small bag drop will be available at the start/finish area, but items are left at owners risk.

The cost of the race is £2 with all profits going to charity.

To save time you can download and print the entry form here (pdf). Entry limit is 50 runners. First come, first served. There will be strictly no more than 50 runners – once we prove ourselves as good guys, we will liaise with relevant bodies about potentially increasing this.
