Migo Mile for October

October landed, and the leaves fell – along with the rain. With the clocks going back, there was some limitations on the amount of daylight hours that would be available to participants of the Virtual Migo Mile for October. This event was run as a virtual event like it was in May

Although this didn’t stop some of you running in the dark! John Gordon (Glasgow South Road Runners) even managed to snatch himself a PB on a dark, wet night run! Surely the future holds further improvement on October’s 07:08.

The Moira Fund

The start weekend for the Virtual Mile for October, coincided with Moira’s Run. This event races money for The Moira Fund, setup by the family of the tragically murdered Moira Jones. The Fund supports the families of suicide and murder victims.

We chose to also support this charity with our event, and are happy to donate the sum of £65.

NTR – No time recorded

There were three randomly drawn prizes for this event – the prizes are a free entry for a future TRB race. Congratulations to Caitlin Marshall, Gordon Penman, and John Plenderleith.

Thank you to all for taking part in the Migo Mile for October
